Bridging Faith And Technology: A TPACK-Based Approach ToInstructional Writing Course In The Society 5.0 Era

Mastery of language skills, especially writing, is very important to be improved by educators to students so that they can compete and participate in the era of society 5.0. This study aims to describe the TPACK-based writing learning process with Nearpod media for students in the era of society 5.0. It also aims to describe student perceptions of TPACK-based writing learning with Nearpod media. Finally it aims to explain the effect of TPACK-based writing learning with Nearpod media on students as learning integration in the era of society 5.0 and how technology and faith can be bridged. The population in this study were 32 active second semester students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of English, Islamic University of Kadiri, Kediri. The regression equation test of student perceptions of academic essay learning shows that the development of writing skills has the highest value of 4.50 of all indicators on the learning variable, meaning that the TPACK approach can improve student writing skills. The indicator of using Nearpod produces a value of 4.47, as an effective learning media. It is concluded that the use of Nearpod is effective in improving students' writing skills. Instructional writing course that involves faith could enhance faith integration in writing course. TPACK approach can be well used in society 5.0 era learning.
