Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the extent of Progressive Law in efforts to resolve cases of Domestic Violence (KDRT) at the Women's Crisis Center (WCC) Jombang Regency. The method used in this writing is to use a type of Non-Doctrinal research which is a combination of normative and empirical research. By using a legal approach, sociological approach, and analytical approach. The results of this study are that the program carried out by WCC Jombang for victims of domestic violence is the Empowerment Program. The nature and characteristics of progressive law have begun to be enforced in handling domestic violence cases. This is the implementation of progressive legal values that oppose the status quo, so that not all problems are resolved before the law.
