Marginalisasi kaum perempuan dalam kehidupan sosialmasyarakat aceh

The purposes of this study are to find out how the marginalization of women is in the social life of the Acehnese people and to find out how the Islamic view is, related to the issue of marginalization of women in the social life of the Acehnese people. The qualitative research method became the reference in this paper, producing descriptive data. The results of this study could be concluded that the marginalization of women in Aceh still occurs in some communities, due to the mindset and ideology that was built a long time ago. On the other hand, in a religious perspective, Islam actually glorifies women. Although, there are still restrictions on social access such as in community life. The decisions are decided by men, and deliberations in society are identically controlled by men, ways of socializing are still limited due to preventing free intercourse.
